Date night picnic in Brisbane

A date that isn’t dinner. Two cushions, a low table, candles as the light goes, and the Brisbane River doing its thing. You bring the food and the conversation.

The two-guest set-up is our most-booked picnic. Late afternoon (4–7pm) is the slot to choose: you arrive in daylight, the candles come into their own, and you pack nothing.

Anniversary? Add the fresh flower upgrade and a letter board with the date. First date? Keep it simple and let the setting work.

Best spots for two: Kangaroo Point cliffs lawn (city lights), the New Farm riverbank, Orleigh Park at sunset, or the lawn below Mt Coot-tha lookout.
